Tips & case studies pleeeeease!!!! :)

Hi to all my wonderful, hard working fellow nursing students!!

This is my 1st post on here....My name's Jessica...I'm 22 yrs old...approaching my 3rd year of Molloy College's nursing program.....

Anyhoo,

I REALLY need some case studies/"select all that apply" type questions (particularly Med-Surg)...maybe some Med-Surg application questions (I want to become better with my critical thinking & APPLYING all this knowledge)...WEBSITES you might know of from your SCHOOL or nursing program.....

Any help will be GREATLY appreciated :)

Honestly, I think the best way to get experience with those things is to get a few NCLEX review books. One that I really like is the "Reviews and Rationales" series by Mary Ann Hogan. On the cd that comes with the book, you can select which topics you want questions from, such as only Med-surg questions, or only only Application type questions.

I think you can also make those selections with the Saunders book, but I tend to prefer the Hogan book if you want to work on critical thinking. But try a few and see what you like best. If you can't afford to get a few, try to find a few classmates who are each willing to buy 1 review book, then you can all share.
