Timeframe Start Date / FJO

Hello, I am still in the onboarding Process. My Timeline so far:

03/21 : TJO

04/03: Online Onboarding, EQIP, Credentialing

04/10: Fingerprinting, Physical Exam, and credentialing completed, confirmed via Phone Call.

04/12: Submitted my Board Evaluation Essay ( 4 Dimensions)

04/25: received a Call that Board is ready to review

5/16: HR sent an email that they are ready to draft FJO and asked me to pick a start Date

fast forward to today: picked 6/4 as the start date, but have not received my FJO yet!

Should I expect my Start Date to be pushed back another 2 Weeks, or is it common to receive the final offer Letter so close to the Start date????

I am onboarding with the VA in texas. TIA

    It's common to receive the final offer the week of the start date! Happened to me with this job.

    Thank you! I in fact received my FJO 4 Days before my start date!
