Hello fellow nurse friends, and aspiring nurses. I graduated in may with my BSN and have three months experience working a telemetry step down unit. I quit my job to be with my family as we were supposedly moving, and that fell through. I am having a really hard time finding my second nursing job, it's been since December! I am not sure if listing that I even have three months and am not a new nurse is a bad mistake. I've gotten as far as entering references, and job shadowing, but still nothing is working.
Does anyone have advice for how to get that second job?

Have you reached back to your former employer to see if they have a spot for you? Hopefully you left on good terms.
If you are trying to change specialties, you are going to have a huge uphill battle. Even in your same specialty your three months may be hindering you. It isn't enough experience to be considered "experienced", but it is too much experience to land in a new grad residency/internship. Try to go back to your former employer, on the same unit, and then stay at least a year or two.
