Any advice ?

Thank you :)

Hello! Are you applying next year??

I applied to ccc and pcc and have been accepted into pcc! I had all my prerequisites completed with a 4.0. I completed my associates at pcc as well. I applied in 2014 but wasn't very hopeful- I had a couple B's and an AP English score that would have transferred as a C. I took that spring term to perfect my application- retook classes and completed my degree. I took this year off and continued to work full time as a pharm tech (which I did during school as well). Regardless of my grades I still felt like an underdog because a lot of the other applicants are CNAs. The only recommendation I can make is that you use your time to make your application as strong as possible.

Oh and for the proctored essay, just know why you want to be a nurse, qualities in yourself that would make a good nurse and so on. Look up prompts online and try to have ideas in mind because the time goes by crazy fast. We responded to three prompts in 50 minutes!

Hello!

I applied to Chemeketa's 2015 program. I am an alternate.

When it comes to your application you really want to strive for full points in everything, which in most classes is an A, but in the biology classes an A or B count for the same points. As for the essay, that is no longer. They will be switching to a pre-nursing exam next year, so I cannot offer any help in that department. (There is a textbook you can buy to help you prep). There are only a few tie breakers for CCC. One is being a resident of the counties where chemeketa is. The other is having an A OR B in biology 231 (in comparison to a C).

I hope this can help you some :)
