Thomas Jefferson University (TJU) Pre-Fall Fact-1 2025 Center City ABSN

Updated:   Published

Hi,

I was accepted to Jefferson, Pre-Fall 2025, Center City Fact-1 (12 mths). I am starting a page for others that plan to attend or have questions.  Graduating with my BA May 2025.

Anyone else out there?

Hi!

I was also recently accepted to the CC ABSN Fact-1 program. Had to take two gap years after graduating with my BS in public health in 2022 in pursuit of PA school. Finally had everything rounded up to apply my first try this last Spring to several schools, with radio silence from most, one rejection. Was really disappointing and frustrating as I had great stats, worked as an ICU tech for 2 years, D1 athlete throughout college, but don't want to keep waiting and pushing back the start of my career so taking a different route. Excited nonetheless to become a nurse and get started.

Thought I'd share in case anyone else had a similar experience/reason!

One of the reasons I picked Jefferson is the acceptance into the NP Program later on (with a few qualifiers: 3.2 GPA and not for anesthetist program). For me I was not ready to try for a PA program.  I look forward to meeting you at Jeff!

I was accepted for the Fact 1 Pre-Fall 2025 ABSN program as well. Just sent in my deposit last week! I'm looking forward to a challenging and strenuous year learning a whole lot of new skills. Can anyone tell me when the program actually starts? For some reason I thought it started in August but from the little info I found on the website it looks like it's actually a late May start?

Looking forward to meet the rest of the cohort!

I was in your position a few years ago. Don't let that minor set back linger too long. In the very end I had an amazing nursing career with no regrets. All thanks to being a Jefferson graduate. I'm actually grateful I was rejected from PA school because I fell into anesthesia later. You are going to enjoy your time as a nurse because there are so many opportunities out there for us. Good luck with your studies - 12 months goes by so quickly.

Ah thank you for responding! It's really assuring to hear others that have gone through the same thing as me. I'm trying not to let it discourage me as I am excited to start school and become a nurse. I just try to think of it as this is what God wants me to do and this is the path that's going to work best for me. Funnily enough I'm actually considering CRNA after becoming a nurse! My dad is a CRNA so it's always been of interest haha.

When did you send in your application? How quickly did it take for them to invite you for an interview and receive your acceptance?

Hi, My application went in the first week in October.  However it took weeks for my recommender to reply.  As soon as that was done my interview was within a week (online) and I got my acceptance the following week.

Hi,  I'm thinking it starts Tuesday May 27th 2025.  This is what I found for last year's calendar:

I applied Mid-October. Got an email a few days later for an interview. Went to the interview (group) the lady was super nice and she told me at the end privately after going over my file that'd I'd be accepted and wrote it on my paper LOL! Then received the official acceptance email two days later!

That's awesome! Congratulations! Mind if I ask what your undergrad GPA was & what the interview was like?

That's awesome! Congrats! What was the group interview like?

Hi, I got accepted and am attending the ABSN Fact-1 program in Center City, Philadelphia. I'm so excited! Is there a facebook group already set up or any groups in place to connect with everyone? Let me know, I'm looking forward to meeting the rest of the cohort!
