I know this has been asked before, but I didn’t see an answer to the post..

do we receive a rejection email if we do not get chosen for an interview ? Or do they simply not get back to you ?

I believe they send a rejection letter / email after all interviews have been held which won’t be done until mid January !

Okay, thanks!

For those who are wondering, faculty will send a rejection email if you were not selected for an interview. Spots remain open for both interview slots and admission seats.

Just wondering, how was the interview for you guys? Was it mostly personality/emotional intelligence or did you guys also get some clinical questions? Thanks!

Not gonna lie, I am disappointed to be waitlisted after interviewing.  Everyone was so friendly and welcoming, I feel the program fits me, and I know I’d rock it.  I have a year of ICU experience, and I am scheduling the CCRN for next month.  Any other suggestions to make my application stronger?  My GPA is just under 3.7, and I just joined AACN.  I’ve shadowed CRNAs and PAs and have a strong volunteer background.  I also have another degree in Biology.  I can’t help but feel my one year experience and lack of CCRN wasn’t comparable to the awesome applicants who interviewed with me, but I’m honored to have been chosen to interview, and determined to keep learning and being resilient, and I will apply to Jeff next cycle.  Maybe the second time applying will be the charm?  Best of luck to the incoming SNRA’s!

Don’t worry you’re not the only one. I have 1.5 SICU experience, CCRN, TNCC, 3.84 GPA, rapid response nurse experience and I still got waitlisted. You’re competing with others with the exact same stats but 3-5 years more experience as you. Experience is valuable but it’s only a matter of time

I’m so sorry to hear you were waitlisted too.  And I agree, the applicants are just amazing and we will definitely be SRNAs soon!  I will just continue to take every opportunity to learn more skills and shadow in the OR.  I feel very grateful to get this far in the process and I know we’re going to be great CRNAs!  You have great stats, keep the faith!

Does anyone have an update regarding if there are seats still available ? I see that there’s 14 members in the facebook group so assuming there’s still some spots open. I don’t want to keep bothering Jackie requesting updates LOL.
