Hi! I wanted to start a thread for those who applied to Thomas Jefferson University's FACT programs for 2023 starts. I applied in the fall but my application was on hold for pre-req grades and I submitted my pending grades today and am hoping to hear back soon! I've already interviewed as well.

Hi guys! I really want to apply to FACT 1/2 and I wanted to know your stats?! ?? I have 2.75 cumulative GPA and

@jerseyg1r1Apply! Jefferson tends to look at all of the applicants attributes- not just grades. I was accepted into the FACT 1 & 2 program in December. I ended up choosing the FACT 2 program because it's a lot more flexible. What were your grades in AP 1&2?

My stats were:

Nutrition: B

Chem: A

Stat: B

Micro: B

AP 1: B

AP 2: C

Hi! I'm currently retaking AP 1&2 and I have an A in both lab and lecture. I haven't started 2 yet! I think I have to finish all my classes before the deadline so I don't think I'll make it

Yes, you need to have at least 3 of the sciences completed a the time of the application. Good luck! I think you have a pretty good chance of being accepted into the program, when you are ready to apply.

Hi! I know its been a minute. What do you think of the program? I applied to FACT 1 but have been hearing sort of limited reviews surrounding TJU's nursing.

Hi! So I officially start September 5th. I have a lot of friends who completed the program. I personally like the set up for the 2 year program better. You get a Winter break, thanksgiving break, Spring break and Summer break. The cost is the main difference. It is more expensive to complete the 2-year program as opposed to the 1 year program but I will get the opportunity to do an externship during the Summer. It is very fast paced. For the 1 year program, you have class 3-4 days per week with 2 clinical days. There are about  4-5 professors in each class. They definitely want you to succeed as it affects their NCLEX pass rate. Do you have a specific question?

Ahhh I gotcha. Well congrats, Sept 5 is so exciting! I'm happy for you.

I thought about a 2 year program at UMD and with TJU, however I graduated undergrad in '21 and have been working, so I kinda wanna get my BSN and dip ? I know it'll undoubtedly be intensive and stressful, especially given the limited duration. I'm glad you mentioned your friends felt supported though. Thats a really big thing I was looking for. I came from a school with smaller class sizes and I thrived in that environment. I hate the idea of being a number, or a school where the profs arent accessible or they don't really care about their jobs or the students. I had one perspective school, and the reviews from the students were subpar.
