I have got kids who can throw up on demand. Others who will throw up if another student says something 'gross'.

I have always said my own child could throw up on command.  I swear she use to vomit intentionally when she was mad.

I've had a few who vomit as soon as they're upset or if they start crying, but I'll never forget the year I had a preschooler who would throw up if he saw ranch dressing.

My sister used to get VIOLENTLY ill (almost to the point of vomiting) when she would be exposed to hotdogs Even the smell! As a kid, she hated hotdogs! Even today, she gets queasy.

#FakePuke not to be confused with #BigFootVomit

Clearly Covid...isolate immediately and send home! LOL?

SAME HERE!! A couple of years ago my entire 4th grade class was nothing but a bunch of sympathy pukers! Pretty positive their motto was "no one pukes alone!".

I had a kid a couple years back that totally threw up on command. Mom was a nurse and was just about done with it. Math test = puking. History project he didn't want to = puking. Nothing physically wrong with the kid, he'd been checked out many times. It got to the point where he'd puke and I'd be like "okay, cool, just sit" and he and I would check in for 15 minutes, him very animated and he'd go back to class. I'd email Mom to check in.

Once I had a sub and even though I'd warned her in my notes, he puked and she gave him a golden ticket home. Mom was frustrated, not at the sub or me, but at her kid. She did tell me the next time I talked to her how much she appreciated how well I had gotten to know her kid.

Luckily, kid hit high school and the puking stopped ;).
