i just wanted to tell everyone, as i am reading these posts, that this is a really great thread:yeah:i can relate to many different topics, and i kid you not for the last two days i have been truly doubting myself with certain issues that i have, and where this will affect me, in my pre reqs this jan, as well as my future nursing career.

i was going to write a thread on how it is for me, how nervous i am getting with failing, bc i am not so good at math, and just the fact that i have no confidence bc i really didnt excel in school, but reading and english. nursing is something that i truly am in sincere with...and i look forward to talking with everyone and learning in this forum...esp this thread it is truly a huge help right now...i dont feel as nervous, just a little but not as much :D

Hey Love2Be!

Eleanor Roosevelt once said "No one can make you feel inferior without your consent"

I also believe that Nursing can be "a calling".

I wasn't that great in basic math, as well. Do I feel bad that I still don't have my multiplication tables memorized? Sometimes. Do I still have trouble with my change? Yes, sigh.....But hey, there are other things that I excel in! I might not know my "eight times table" but I am a damn good Nurse. I have come far in my life, all the while I was my own biggest critic. Not anymore, well....maybe not as much:D

Keep your head up. Do your best. Don't be afraid to ask for help, guidance, support. This forum and all the other forums here at All Nurses....

Good Luck. Keep us posted on what is going on with you..
