We have royal blue scrubs that are so thin....I'm not kidding....you must be careful w/the undie thing even in those. And, our shirts don't fit right so you are either wearing one that is way too tight or way too big and you look like a kid wearing dress up clothes.

I've always worn a shirt under my scrubs thick or thin, dark blue or white. It's just a habit, you'll get used to it. I also wear white tights under my (white) pants because I'm paranoid.
You wearing a plain white undershirt it's not gonna make that much of a difference. The heat outside isn't goning to matter since the hospital enviroment is a controled setting and is basically the same temp year round.

My uniform shirt is SO thin! I HAVE to wear something under it! What were they thinking? AND it's cut low in the front! Again, I ask, WHAT WERE THEY THINKING? I have to get a short sleeved t-shirt to wear under it! I'm sure that's going to feel nice and warm in the heat of Spring...
