Hi! I am planning to apply the position of therapeutic apheresis nursing at Fresenius. I had some experience of TPE and I am very interested in the apheresis filed. Is there anybody currently working at Fresenius as an apheresis nurse? I need some tips of this job!!

I worked outpatient infusion at the hospital for quite a while. Our hospital would contract apheresis nurses at Fersenius. It seemed very interesting, no cases were ever the same. Everything is 1:1 obviously and there is quite a bit of monitoring of vital signs, lab analysis, and trouble shooting lines.
Something to take into consideration though is I know they work A LOT of hours (their regular shift, plus on call). We had one guy that would easily work 70 hours a week (by choice), but he made bank. They also covered many hospitals, so they spent a lot of time traveling. So, if that's something you're interested in, go for it!
Thank you so much for your comment. Really helpful!!
I wonder apheresis is better job than dialysis? Anyone knows about this?

yes and no. Apheresis is always one on one, im talking about therapeutic apheresis and not donation centers position. Usually treatments are shorter , 1.5h hours vs dialysis 3.5-4h. U only use one machine. apheresis is used of treatments of multiple conditions , HD just esrd.
