UPDATE: Changes: New Log In Requirement

I'm applying for utmb's nursing program for Spring 2026 and thought I'd create this forum, anybody else applying? stats If all goes to plan:

science will be a 3.63, prerequisite 3.3, TEAS- (taking next month), and personal statement is finished

They recently sent an email out? I spoke with advising and they told me mid October!

No, sorry! There was an email I received back in August after the deadline, that said it would take about 10-14 weeks

If they did I didn't receive an email. Are they going to notify us on our personal email right?

yeah sorry, I was talking about an old email I received in august! I believe we will get notified on our personal emails for decisions however

Oh OK LOL. I'd rather know before the holiday so I can prepare. The suspense is killing me haha. Have you guys applied any where else or this was your first pick?

Yes! or early November. Ironically the Summer 26 application closes on November 1st, so I'd hope they would send out the admission letters before closing the next application LOL

Is anyone else having issue logging into UTMB portal? I was trying to look for the status of my application but it keeps saying site can't be reached all of a sudden.

Yes, I believe it is due to maintenance, because I remember checking MyStar and it said the website would be down for a bit I think

ohhhh that makes sense! thank you! this wait sucks😭especially since I submitted over 2 months ago. I pray we hear something in the next week or 2
