UPDATE: Changes: New Log In Requirement

I'm applying for utmb's nursing program for Spring 2026 and thought I'd create this forum, anybody else applying? stats If all goes to plan:

science will be a 3.63, prerequisite 3.3, TEAS- (taking next month), and personal statement is finished 

has anyone heard any updates regarding the waitlist? I called and was told latest we should hear is mid December. I know Summer applications are due the 15th of December so not sure what to do.

I have not heard any updates yet either, and am also unsure about applying for Summer 😕

Sorry if this is a silly question, but are our fingerprints and the background check the same? Or do I have to do something separate for the background check after my fingerprint appointment?

yea it's the same! then after the appointment, we should receive a blue card in the mail if the background check is clear! I heard it roughly takes 2-3 weeks from the Board of Nursing!

I emailed and they said the last day to be accepted off the waitlist is this Friday. Does anyone know if there's a penalty for applying a second time?
