personally, I love the island! I have heard some bad stuff about island bay apts & lakeside at campeche apts online/from friends but not sure about many other places. from personal experience, the campeche cove area is quite good besides the complex I mentioned. this is all west end info though, I'm not very accustomed to the east end so sorry that I can't help with that! I am staying on the island as well! I'm currently looking into "The Residence at West Beach". I toured it last week and it was really nice or there are cheaper housing options on the roommate Facebook forum.

Last week I received a email saying that I am waitlisted and will receive an updated email within this week. Has anyone got off the waitlist with good news?

I also got an email last week that I was on the waitlist. I haven't heard back yet, and I've called everyday but no response. My email said in the coming weeks, not within the week though. Hoping everyday that I can a spot!!

I just an email from them saying things I can get done in the meantime of being on the waitlist and that you can come off the waitlist at any time from now until the end of August. Hopefully we hear back from them soon.

Same, I just received that email as well. I am hoping that we will hear back before the end of June, just so that we have some idea of what is going on. Good luck!
