Usually interviews start in September, so this year we won't hear back if we're interviewing until then this year? 😵‍💫😬

Yes usually by now everyone would know if they have an interview or not. I guess they are behind this year.

Wait so starting next month they're going to be sending out interview requests? OMG. 
 

edit: just saw your next comment. That's nuts. Technically next month is Monday though I guess

There was a record number of qualified applicants this year so they have to comb through them slowly, when normally there is a clear delineation for interviews. They expect to notify about interviews by beginning of October.

I am refreshing my email so often just hoping I see an interview invite!

Faculty has said expect notification early October. My year we received a call for interview and an email for acceptance.

I heard this from current students as well. Do they not go over "priority deadline" applications first? Or is that taken into account at all?
