Hello everyone!

The deadline for applications to UTC for the start of January 2026 is near and I wanted to go ahead and start a discussion thread for all those planning on applying! This will be my first time applying to schools as well, so any and all advice is welcome. Best of luck to each of you!

Same, I got my invitation the other day and accepted!

I noticed that previous class threads made a Facebook group for admitted students to link up, so I checked the university guidelines for social media and created a group.. link below.

For those still waiting, don't give up hope! I really thought waitlisted would mean not getting in, but now a number of us have gotten in from the waitlist!

Is this an option? I thought all of our classes were program specific

It is an option from what I've heard but you have to get approval first. Cutting it close time wise

What laptop or pad is every one getting? One current student told me she enjoyed having an iPad for lectures and then just whatever laptop for papers, etc. Any suggestions?
