Hello!
Has anyone applied at University of Tennessee at Chattanooga for the upcoming CRNA cohort? I interview August 6th. ?
I felt like the questions I was asked were not bad. I think my interview may have lasted 10 minutes, so I was surprised. I interviewed last year as well. I honestly am not sure what they are looking for candidate wise. If I had that insight I would be in. Don’t give up. How many times have you applied? How could you beef your resume up?
I don’t know what you’ve already done. This is my first round of applications and I got in. I would say if you haven’t looked into a graduate level science class then I think it will help your application. I took one online at MTSA, and really enjoyed the class. It is 70% of what you’ll be doing in CRNA school anyway so it’s good to hear the info more than once. I hope this helps!
@abbskat, Congratulations! which science class you took? I may want to take one. Do you mind share your credential briefly?
@Hawgwald, my interview at least 30-40 minutes, they took turn to throw me questions, half personal and half clinical, don't know why they ask me so many questions, I may just missed one clinal question, this is second year I applied UTC, last year they even didn't give me interview.
I am 3 year ICU(MICU,CVICU), CCRN, GPA 3.5, GRE 320,
how about you?
I heard rumor they prefer male, high GPA.
CVICU- CRNA: Its called Advanced Pathophysiology its at MTSA. The teacher who is currently teaching the class is amazing. I recommend the class to everyone even if they are not going back to school. He teaches the content from the perspective of an ICU nurse, but he says it's 70 % of what you'll be hearing once you are in a CRNA program.

Does anyone know of a facebook page for admitted students?
Hi, will you be able to share some thoughts about the interview? I have to fly from Seattle to have 10m interview:) so I want to prepare for the best. Last time I interviewed with Fairfield university and questions were not difficult, everything went well but I didn't get in. I don't know if they already make their choices but just want to make sure by doing the interview with more people. Thank you so much! Here is my email if you don't want to share here.
