UAB Nurse Practitioner Program for FALL 2022


Starting a thread for applicants who applied to MSN NP Program at University of Alabama at Birmingham! The deadline closes today, February 18. 
I applied for FNP track, with WHNP as my backup. I have seen topics for previous years where they could share updates on acceptance letters and give support/feedback!

From the timeline they give it said those may not be sent out til later. Haven’t heard anything really - other than orientation. Did anyone get any timeframes for orientation?

I did see where it said it could be July. Just making sure I haven’t missed anything. I haven’t received any info on times for orientation either.

Hey everyone! So long story short, I was supposed to start Fall 2024 (but deferred to Summer 2025) because UAB's email relocated to spam inbox. Before I knew that I was going to be able to defer my enrollment I accepted a seat at another program (that I am not crazy about). I am finishing out my Fall semester with this other program, and it sounds like UAB should let my most of my credits transfer over. How do you guys feel about UAB's program? Do you like it? Does the material feel manageable?
