years ago, i remember the circulating whispers of the head of a medical department being caught on film performing a sex act with a housekeeper in a remote corner of the medical library. the housekeeper was fired; his union threatened to sue, which would thus making the whole thing public as a matter of court record. the hospital relented and gave the housekeeper his job back. the other man who reportedly only got a letter of reprimand, was seen being escorted around by the president of the hospital, who was noted to have been pointing out the locations of the hidden video cameras to the medical director.

happens all the time and everywhere, it only seems to be a big deal if seen by the public or it's a direct superior & subordinate situation. most people have enough control to take it outside of their place of work, but others seem to like the thrill of doing it at work.

I don't think they should be fired. I don't give a crap of people fool around on the job, as long as they're doing it on their break and it doesn't affect patient care.

In a shower room?! Where patients and staff are buzzing in and out?! I mean, really.. there's a time and a place..

I've seen patients enjoying the shower room to the maximum -- or rather, a patient and his wife. But when I saw the married medical director of the ER and the married Director of Nursing in a state of undress and engaged in activities which their spouses did not approve, it was in an exam room. And yes, I walked in on them.

There's gotta be a joke here about quick and easy clean-up...

All I can say is - sex where you can get hospital germs on you?!? Ewwww...
