The Medical City

Hi everyone! Just want to ask if there's anyone out there who has an idea if Medical City is currently accepting applicants? Or if their schedule for trainings is ongoing? I wanted to follow up my application there.. I passed the Clinical and Psychological exam last June 2008 but until now I haven't heard anything from them.. I am thinking if I would submit my papers and start all over again or just follow it up..

Thank you in advance for all your replies! :)

@carlo018

Yes. They haven't texted me yet also. I have actually completed my requirements before June because they said that the NTAP might probably start on june. We've definitely been waiting long enough.

What if there are findings in your medical exam, will they still accept you?

It probably depends on what the finding is.

hi guys! How's your application going? :)

Hello everyone! I'd like to share my current application status in TMC. I'm presently undergoing my 5 month-training in a tertiary hospital somewhere in Cavite (with the help of my backer). Since, next month is my last month rotation in our hospital and I don't have any plans to extend my training, I thought to apply in TMC (Even though I don't have anyone to back me up). Yesterday, I signed to their log sheet for applicants. Then, the HR lady told me to wait for their SMS if I'm already scheduled for exam which kinda' gave me a sad feeling that I might not be called for exam. Afterwards, I copied the list of requirements upon hiring located at the front desk. :clown: To my surprise, one of the HR employees approached me and asked me if I do have a resume and a copy of my board rating at hand. I handed my resume and certificate of board rating right away (Btw, my NLE board rating is 76.80%). Then, I left the hospital and went home. Around 6PM yesterday, I received an SMS from TMC HR informing me that I'm scheduled for pre-employment exam next Friday. Yeheyyyyyy! It gave me a total boost to keep going with my application! I hope I can pass the pre-employment exam, in Jesus name! :D So I suggest you that you must not lose hope. It's really hard to take chances in everything. This may sound cliche but try and try and try. I'll pray for you guys! We can do this!

Oh, I think they texted you not because of your board rating but because you already had a hospital experience. HR will always be looking for someone who has an edge over others. Hmm it seems that we will be having the exam on the same date. Good luck to us! :D

Thank you so much, vlademyr! I can say. . . I am more blessed that day than being lucky. I really can't thank Him enough!!! It's so overwhelming and I'm very grateful! I was really surprised that they asked copies of my resume and cert. of board rating considering that it was a bleak opportunity to take their pre-employment exam despite of my NLE score. Glad to hear that you got 2 calls from other hospitals you've applied. :D God bless!

Yes, you have a good point, cheezy_curls. Hope that we'll pass the pre-employment exam. To God be the glory!
