Starting this thread for all who would be applying in 2024 and matriculating in May 2025.

 

 

 

 

Hello Guys. I submitted my application on the due date cause unfortunately it took a while to get my faculty reference. Do you know how long does NursingCAS take to verify the application? Does the verification  time affect the application in anyway?

I submitted my application 08/31 and got my last required reference in 09/02. I'm hoping I wasn't denied an interview or I didn't wait too long to submit. Now I'm going to be VERY paranoid.

Anybody else got interview invites after the deadline?

I scheduled my interview on 9/19 followed by the student panel session the same day.

I submitted my app on 6/5 and got invitation on 8/29

They sent me on 8/29 I think that day was the first batch of roll out

Does anyone know if JHU is mostly EI/Clinical of combination of both?

I submitted on 9/3 and my application just got verified by NursingCAS. I'd give it two weeks at least to hear back.

I submitted early August and got the interview 8/29. However, if my memory serves me well, in past years, there were two groups of interview invites/interview dates. So they probably just reviewed apps up to a specific submission date and then are reviewing the rest at this time. You can review the 2024 matriculation thread to get a feel for the timeline on the second round of interview invites. Best of luck, everyone!

See, I just got the verification email from Hopkins today, but I was verified by NursingCAS 09/03 when my last recommendation was sent. 
 

I would imagine they'd reach out to the next set of interviews Thursday/Friday, since that's 3 weeks before the next interview date (seeing as how they sent invites to 09/19 interviewees on 08/29). From all the other threads, they never sent interview invites before the application deadline, which makes this year odd

I didn't see on threads but I know that one of my friends who applied to Hopkins actually got an interview invite before the deadline last year. She also told me she remembers that after she got her invite other applicants got theirs a while after the deadline too.
