Published

Hi!

I submitted my application for the Spring 2026 MSN Direct Entry program at Johns Hopkins University School of Nursing on October 1, and I was wondering if anyone heard back.

Absolutely. I had a cumulative GPA of 3.7. All pre-reqs were straight As, two pre-reqs are currently in progress.
Three recommendations
3 years of clinical experience
Other stuff I have been doing -- community service mainly

I have until mid-November to decide.

Thank you for sharing . You absolutely deserved it. Best of luck for your jouney!

Thank you for the kind words. I think more credit goes to the people who helped me in my pathway, especially my parents and my teachers. It's really been an enormous struggle.

addisontayyy- do you mind sharing your stats please? and how much time did they give you to accept your admission offer (due date)?

I applied to total of four programs including john hopkins.I got my reply within two weeks of applying to each program including john hopkins. Vanderbilt took forever to get back though. I was put on waiting list by Hopkins but got accepted into other programs (Emory, Duke and Vanderbilt).

hi! my undergrad GPA was only a 3.01 but I did all my prereqs and got a 4.0 in them. I think what set me apart is that I have been a public school teacher for 5 years and also worked as a community coordinator for a local business. they gave me the normal 25k scholarship

For those who got accepted, are there any social groups for Spring 2026?
