The job market...

Hi everyone,

Some of the posts on here are extremely worrying for a student like myself as far as being able to find work.

Is it really that impossible to find work in the area? Is this just for new grads? Or is the market horrible for all nurses?

Be willing to relocate out of state to obtain your first few years of nursing experience. California, NYC/NJ, CT, Chicago, Boston, and most of the populous metro areas have difficult job markets for nurses. Be willing to move where few people want to live, such as North Dakota, Wyoming, Nebraska, and so on.
