The Dreaded Cover Letter

Hello fellow nurses!

I am a new grad...though it doesn't feel new anymore. I graduated in May 2013 and am still looking, applying, and seeking that first job. I currently live in California, but am planning on moving across the country to the NYC area. I wonder if any of you who feel like you are great at cover letters can give me some advice...

1. Everyone says I need to show more personality in my letter; something I have a hard time with! I have trouble writing about myself.

2. Anecdotes...good idea or bad idea?

3. I got 75 questions on NCLEX and passed...should I brag on that in my cover letter?
