I want give a public "thank you" to the nurses here who are veterans--those of us with 10+ years of nursing. You get bonus points if you've been in nursing at least half of your life! :wink2:
We have been through tremendous changes in the medical and nursing profession. Seen all sorts of fads come and go when it comes to pt. treatment, management's latest "bright idea," etc.
Despite the stressors, relatively low pay for the level of responsibility and some of the over-the-top patients/families, we keep plugging away.
I truly appreciate my colleagues, particularly those who've been at this even longer than me (and I've been at it over 20 years). We're the real "Survivors."
