Hello everyone,
Noticed there was no topic for the TWU Fall 2025 cohort. Could be early, but I want to know how everyone is doing! I'm currently in the process of writing my personal statements. I know the program is very competitive, so I wanted to share my stats and hopefully receive some honest feedback on my chances of admission:
GPA: 4.0
TEAS:
Cumulative: 90.7%
Reading: 89.7%
Math: 94.1%
Science: 93.2%
English: 81.8%
Good luck everyone!
Kimxle said:I emailed TWU specifically someone who handles admissions offers about the form saying Spring 2025 instead of fall, so hopefully they answer soon.
Update: That was an error on their end. So, we can go ahead and fill out the form as if it were for Fall 2025 for those who got accepted.

I am certified in phlebotomy, but I haven't worked as a phlebotomist and don't have any healthcare experience outside of that. I think they send out the second wave of acceptance letters in late April because we have until the 11th to accept admission. Also, I don't want to lead anyone astray about my grades. My nursing GPA is a 3.9, but I took a lot of courses early in my college career that I didn't do too hot in, which is why my overall is much lower.

They fixed the form, y'all, so you can go ahead and finish it. I see everyone sharing their status for the future application, so here's mine:
GPA:
TWU cumulative: 3.656
NursingCAS cumulative: 3.53
Pre-req GPA: 3.65
TEAS Average: 86.7%
Reading: 74.4%
Math: 94.1%
Science: 97.7%
English & Language Usage: 78.8%
I have no experience whatsoever. I am a first-degree seeker, and I even failed a couple of ESL classes (for any concerned ESL students). I also have a C- in a non-related course. My statement was alright (I recommend having someone check yours—I didn't, but I think you should).
I'm very happy with my acceptance to the Houston campus and look forward to seeing you all on May 1st!"
