So, the last day of interviews is Jan 17th. My friend interviewed yesterday, and was told that by Friday after the last interview they should have everybody ranked and pretty much selected. On the website it says notifications are Jan 30-Feb 15.

Another thing is, I know that 5 people didn't show up to an interview on the 9th. Not sure why. 1 person from my interview (1/4) is going to another school as they just came off the waitlist at their top program.

Well maybe we'll hear from them early than what stated on the website. Kinda like with the interview notifications.

I literally will talk to anybody about anything haha. A BUNCH of my friends are interviewing this time around and we are all on different days and at different facilities so we each report back to each other after we are done LOL and I don't mind helping this forum out with what I hear.

I interviewed yesterday, and they said they are targeting to have decisions sent out the second week of February.

I'm interviewing today. Did they tell anyone during the interview which site they chose for you?

No they just went over the sites I picked during my application. Told me about the new ones and ask if I want to re rank any of them

I wonder if you interviewed with my friend. She said her co-applicant was an NP prior. If so I heard y'all did great!

I interviewed today and I don't think I did as good as I want to. I didn't know most of the answers and I felt they gave list of chances of answering but I couldn't get it.

Your site isn't chosen at time of interview, nor are you necessarily interviewing for a specific clinical site even if your scheduled interview date had a clinical site listed. Those who had clinical sites listed on their interview sign up I believe had those because it may have been higher up on their preference list and a CRNA liaison from that clinical site will also be in the interview. But clinical site decisions aren't made until after all interviews are complete and the applicants who ARE getting a spot are ranked. The interview is a part of how you are ranked, so clinical site can't be determined on interview day even if you did well enough to get a spot—they have to complete all interviews and determine the full ranking of all that are being accepted.

I'm sure you did a great job! Now it's just a waiting game! You got this?

My friend in the program stated that those who have "better" stats GRE and GPA and ranked a particular site #1, were prioritized to interview with that clinical spot over those who received a general interview. For example, I originally ranked Harris first, but didn't get an interview with that clinical liaison but my friend who also ranked them first did. She undoubtedly has a better GPA than me. Unsure how true that is, but just going off what he told me. He's a 2nd year in the program. But I do know that even if you didn't get to interview with the liaison, you can still get placed at your top preference after everything is ranked. But who knows, it's all word of mouth and a gamble.

Thank you for your input too.

Another thing is my friend who interviewed Monday had somebody from JPS in their interview and they originally stated that he was in the room "working on paperwork", but ultimately ended up asking her questions. So she had 3 people interviewing her.

Don't be too hard on yourself. I felt like I didn't give them the answers they wanted and then when I got to my car I was like dang, I bet they wanted me to say xyz.
