I haven't seen a thread for Texas Wesleyan 2022 program start, so figured I'd start one. Has anyone submitted their application yet? I'm just about done wrapping mine up. I noticed they didn't have early application this year like they have in precious?
I think once you got an interview, GPA/GRE scores kind of go out the window because that gets you the interview and then it depends on how well you do during the interview. I only say this because I don’t have the most competitive GPA but it was good enough to give me an interview. But here were my stats: 3.2 Overall GPA/ science GPA 3.5, I had already taken O chem & made an A, GRE 145V/152Q/4.5W, 6 years Medical ICU at level 1 trauma centers/academic centers, 2.5 years as a flight nurse, CCRN & CFRN (required for my flight job).
During my interview, I talked heavily about the stuff I do as a flight nurse (intubation, airway management, sedation) all done independently and I was told by the California clinical coordinator that he loved that about me. I even messed up the easy math question during the interview and thought I was done for but I think because I was able to answer all of their other clinical questions well, they forgave me. Hope this feedback helps!
Oh, my top sites were all in the DFW area but I was given a California site. I told them in the interview they could send me anywhere as long as I get accepted with Texas Wesleyan.
I wouldn’t get too discouraged. I interviewed the 12th and got an acceptance call the same day but they asked me not to share my acceptance with other applicants because they still had interviews and didn’t want other applicants getting nervous. I feel like they will still be making calls next week. Don’t count yourself out yet! It’s a big class.

For those of you who have received acceptances, would you mind sharing some stats? Just curious
