Hello,
I have been invited for an interview at Texas Wesleyan and wanted to know if anyone out there has any words of advice for me. Does anyone know how the interview is structured, etc. I am open to any tips for helpful information. Anyone else receive a letter for an interview?

Know your vasoactive drugs...This is a fairly straightforward, clinical based interview...
Thanks, I appreciate the help.

There will also be an ABG question and possibly an increased ICP question. Very relaxed and informal interview. Make sure in the interview they are aware of ALL your credentials.
Thanks so much for the responses and keep 'em coming! I am sure they are going to be a big help.

TexasCCRN,
I also have an interview at TWU. It is scheduled for November. How about yours, when is it scheduled? I have heard a couple of different thoughts about the interview. So have said it is not that bad, and others said it was pretty grueling. This is from people that are either in school, or have already graduated.
Here is some information that was given to me on this forum about the interview:
For TWU, focus on these concepts:
1.interpretation of abgs
2.alpha, beta receptors
3.IICP(signs/symptoms, treatment)
4.ACLS drugs
5.Heart blocks (treatment)
6.Hemodynamics (preload, afterload, ejection fraction, etc...)
7.Spo2 vs. Pao2
