Texas Wesleyan CRNA 2017

Nursing Students SRNA

Published

Hi everyone! I am new to allnurses.com, so my apologies in advance if I've posted this topic elsewhere on the website. I submitted my application and all supporting documents at the beginning of the month to Texas Wesleyan's CRNA program for the entering class of 2017. Has anyone applied this cycle received an interview date or any feedback from the school? Thanks in advance!

Hi everyone- I'm new to this site. Received my acceptance for the site in Jonesboro. Has anyone else been accepted to that site on this thread? Congrats to all who got in!

I will be at the jonesboro site. are you a part of the Facebook group yet ??

I joined it today. I'm pretty nervous/excited to get started.

Hi everyone, I am new to the site. Any one starting at the California site (Colton) this August?

I know some people have already posted their stats, but for those of you who did not get accepted (like myself) do you mind posting yours? I didn't even get an interview. I didn't think I was THAT undesirable of a candidate, I honestly thought they would at least interview me first. Do you think clinical site matters as far as how competitive it is? Maybe next time I can choose the least popular location and put that as my #1. LOL

ivaninhabar: I'll be at Colton this August.

Aggie_nurse: I think the site does matter. Colton only take up to 11 tops, and they fill up immediately. I heard Mobile is one of the last sites? Just what I've heard. Call and ask. They are always willing to help you succeed. Good luck!

Hi, I am new to this site and not to sure on how to use it. I live in Bismarck now and am in nursing school. I was just a wondering what your stats were when applying to Twu? When I apply my or hope to apply my kids will be around the same age as yours. Please let me know any information that might be helpful thanks

Me?

I will have the minimum time requirement in ICU for TWU, of February of the year before the program. So basically 1.5 years at time of matriculation.

BSN GPA: 4.0 (they made a big deal about that)

GRE: 315

TNCC, PHN, along with a list of other basic and smaller certs

160 shadow hours

I also think I had very strong recommenders who wrote great letters.

Hi I was wondering what your stats were when you applied and did you work for a hospital here in Bismarck when you applied? I am in nursing school now and I want to see what I would have to do to be competitive? Thanks

Thanks I hope I can get a 4.0 for my bsn so far so good but still have a quite a ways to go. I was trying to ask someone who got accepted to the Bismarck site but it's not letting me reply directly to them. Do I just tag them or what do I do?
