Hello Guys!!I just wanted to create a new thread for the 2013 Texas tech BSN program! I will be applying this December (El Paso) campus. Is anyone else?

I am so excited and hopefully in the near future I can meet you all!

I am so nervous....but I am sure most of you all are feeling the same.

hey guys! good luck to all of you that are trying to get in to the texas tech traditional bsn program. Im in the program right now in lubbock and around this time i received my acceptance (in march).

I'm so excited. I'm hoping ill get in. this year they started to require teas entry exam

Yay I'm so excited! How is the Lubbock campus. Are they up to date on their clinical. Do you feel prepared?

Okay. Did anyone's else merlin "open" up? Mines says "closes 3/24/2013". HELP! I tried emailing someone about it....no response.

It's referring to the application time frame. If you have done everything that the application process asks i.e. forms, transcripts, etc. . ., you don't need to worry. If you're application is incomplete, Sunday is the 'close' date or last day to submit. Make sense?

One of the directors said that since it's the first year, the requirement will be somewhat low for the TEAS and increase accordingly after that. I got a 78 and she said I am well above the bar.

Okay, Thanks!:woot: I think everything is there. I turned it all in with Nursing CAS and emailed my TEAS Score to one of the admission coordinators. Ahhhh!!! I'm so nervous.. I only applied to TTUHSC and UTMB. But I really hope I get into TTUHSC, because its closer to home. GAH, IM FREAKING OUT!:nailbiting:

Sounds like you took care of it. I'm applying to all the Tech programs and UTMB too. I would prefer a change of scenery but I also know a LOT of people at UMC. It's difficult to make so many friends and leave them. But that's assuming I'll get in to one of them. The last I remember, we won't hear back until April. Everyone got letters while we were studying for the last exam during Patho.

Yeah, I know exactly how you feel. It is hard to make great friends then leave. But if they're truly great friends they'll understand that you have to follow your passion, no matter where it takes you.

April is so far!! ( I know its only like a week away), but its going to be one long week!

I also applied to utmb and every location @ tech! If utmb doesn't work out I'm hoping for a Lubbock or Abilene location. I applied to the El Paso location and me moving by myself don't fit to well with me near the border.

I looked on Fall 2012 Traditional thread and they were told April as well but got emails on March 25th ...which is tomorrow! Crossing fingers

Which is why I hearrrrrrrdddd as to why it says open on Merlin. Because they have it open to look at applicants
