Anybody can tell me which hospitals are good to work for in Houston area? good staffing, benefit...etc.

does anyone know the average pay in Houston for RN's?

do a search on one of the salary websites for a houston RN... it really depends on what field you want to go into, which specialization, what type of facility etc.

I went to the job fair last week in Houston. I have 1 year experience in step down unit. They told me the pay was about $23-24 per hour +shift diff (NO 1.5 after 8 hours only after 36hours total) but if you have experience in critical or specialty care it would be higher.

I also am looking to relocate to the houston area, am a peds nurse with 3 years experience, any ideas on avg pay and also which hosp is better Texas Childrens or Memorial Hermann?
