TWU is a great school. I plan on applying there also next semester. This semester, I missed their deadline unfortunately.

Hello,

I spoke with Dr. Smith today and she told me that there are many factors that can put you in the waiting list, one is if you do not apply early; I think this is what happened to me. I am going to try apply TWU. Can someone tell me what is a good book to study for the TEAS, I bought one but it seems to easy. Thank you. Congratulations for all that got in PV for the fall semester. That's probably why I was put on the waiting list as well. I completed my application on the first week of February. If their admissions process wasn't so unorganized then I would have completed it sooner. I'm going to apply to TWU as well next semester, I also need to study for the TEAS.

Me too I applied at the end of January. One girl told me to use the ATI book, she said is very helpful. I am doing my application for TWU tomorrow because the deadline is Sep 1 and for the scholarship is Dec 1 and it takes like 6 weeks to get accepted. I am concern about the TEAs test, because many people said that is very hard :nailbiting:

Hey Lalacb123, somebody told me to call PV and ask what is my position in the wait list, that way I will have an idea if I will get in for the fall semester. I already applied for TWU, but it seems that is much harder to get in their program. It is very competitive, you need to have almost a perfect GPA and have a score of 94 or more in the teas. Someone was said that she has a gpa of 3.8 and 96 on the teas and did not get in. I do not know what to think, because the teas is harder than the hesi.

Did you call PV? I need to find out when I can apply for Spring 2014. I decided to get a Phlebotomy license through HCC and I start June 8th. I plan on applying to PV very early!

Hey Lalacb123, I think the deadline is on November. I am going to check again. I am thinking twice about PV, my friend just graduated from there and she told me it was horrible for her. I am going to apply for TWU and for the program in my college as well. Also, I was thinking of getting my license in plebotomy too.

The application deadline for PV is Oct 1, and you may begin apply around May or June. The lady in the front desk was not sure about that. She told me to check on their web to see if the application is already open for the next semester.

so i am currently a student at prairie view. i got accepted into the nursing program, and i truly hope its more professional than main campus. other than that its a cool school, im sure the con will be much better though!
