New grad possibly moving to College Station/Bryan

U.S.A. Texas

Published

Hey everyone!

I just have some questions that I thought someone would be able to help me with.

I will be graduating in December '06 with my BSN and will probably be moving to the College Station/Bryan area from AZ. I have applied at both St. Joseph's Regional Health Center and College Station Medical Center. I was wondering if anyone on here works or knows someone that works at either of these hospitals and can recommend one of them? I appled several weeks ago and haven't heard back from either one, so I don't have any offers. And would anyone happen to know the nurse to patient ratio at either hospital?

Also, I am planning on taking the NCLEX in AZ and then moving. Is that a good idea, or would it be better to move and then take the NCLEX in TX? I don't know how long I will be staying in TX to work.

Thank you everyone!!
