Hi all! Haven't seen one for Spring application yet and I have some questions so I thought I'd start this!

It says on the app that we need closed transcripts from all previous schools. What if we have one on file with admissions, does this count? Only one of my classes is from an out of state school and on econnect it shows transfer equivalent. I have an email in to Self-Drake asking but thought maybe someone would know sooner. TIA!

Same with me! We are going to make it in this time. El Centro pushed me back a year with their foolishness. But it's ok because it must wasn't my time then but I'm ready now!!!

I was wandering the same thing! I have to pay for my transcripts and I've already given them to the school! Please update us if we don't have to send them again with the application . I emailed her as well, but if she gets to you first lol

I too was planning on applying to El Centro and North Lake but since El Centro was on probation North Lake couldn't do their program. They are partnered together. I'm becoming nervous, I only have 15 points, I didn't take pharm or patho and I have a 3.77 in pre-reqs. I'm praying that's good enough to get a call back for an interview/writing.. I'm also using insurance from my job, but being that if I get accepted I'll have to quit my job so I'll need to look for insurance ASAP once I get accepted (hopefully). I've also applied to North Central Texas College and Brookhaven to have more options.. I can't wait any longer to start a program ! I need to start ASAP lol. I'm tired of this !

Since I already had my out of state transcripts evaluated through admissions I only had to submit an official dcccd transcript which you can pick up same day through any of the admission offices.

Im not sure what I will do if I dont get in. I dont really have anymore time to be wasting trying to get into a program. The first time I applied at El Centro they said they wouldnt take my shot record attatched to my transcript so I had to get my shots all over again which put me behind. Then I applied for the fall of 2018 and after paying money for background checks, physicals, and taking HPRS classes that were useless because they were taken off the program's list....I was told they were on probation and not taking any fall applicants for both El Centro and Navarro College. I put all my eggs into El Centro's program, and wish I had branched out and met requirements for another program. Did yall meet with an advisor to have them look over your application to make sure you are not missing anything?

Me. Drake is the one you should have meet with to be sure your application was complaint. She is your go to person for Mountain View, and you will be fine as well as me this is the program that we WILL get into!! I always speak it into existence and plus Mountain View is we're I want to be because their pass rate is tremendously high for Nclex! My heart, mind, body and spirit tells me Mountain View is for me.

Guys I can wait to see all of us say "I'm in or I got accepted" !!! I always watch all the allnurses thread when it's acceptance time and I always say I can't wait til it's my time to type those words. Lol.

I have my heart set on Mountain View as well. And have done my part now it's up to God to let His will be done.
