Hey everyone finally a thread for july cohort. i already applied to all the specialities i want like 3am the day it opened. A friend of mine told me they give interviews to people who apply early not sure how true that is. What speciality did everyone apply to?

I applied to ED but now that you say that it's good to apply early I'm going to apply to Tele today too. I already work for THR so I don't know if that will play into anything. Unfortunately, I have a MacBook and have been struggling to apply unless it's on a windows computer.

celinarayna you should be fine because you are already working there so thats a huge advantage for u compared to us not working there. My friend that works there as a nurse and started the internship this month just said if you apply early they give interviews first to those people before looking at later applicants. Not sure how true it is thats why i made sure i applied as soon as it opened same day.

do you think it matters about how many different positions we apply to?

No i dont think so. i applied to 15 positions including medsurg as my number 1, then i applied to telemetry, ICU and PCU.

do you think they look at the order maybe that you submit apps?

no they dont look at the order. What areas are you applying to or have applied to?

I applied to ED and Oncology @ Dallas and NICU in Plano!

I applied for ED, L&D, Mom/Baby, NICU @ Plano and ED, L&D, Mom/Baby @ Dallas. And NICU @ Ft. Worth!
