Texas Health July 2017 Residency

Does anyone know when Texas Health Resources will open up their application for their Graduate Nurse Residency program for July 2017?

Has anyone worked in the ICU for any of the THR facilities? If so, where at and what are some pros/cons?

My trauma ICU for Fort Worth said filled and I got a rejection email :/

Do they call to schedule an interview or is it an email?

they emailed her with two date options available and asked her to reply with her preference.

They also said in the email: "it is also in your best interest to only interviews with positions that align with your intended career path"......so I guess they don't want people interviewing for just anything and everything.

My trauma fort worth position still says considering. Its not trauma ICU though. Ugh, I wish I would start getting more status updates.

What was the GN screen? Did they send it in the Email?

You will see the progression in your application....it goes "application in review process", "forwarded to hiring mgr for review" and then "interview to be scheduled", and last "offer in progress, or something to that effect.

I have a few THR nurse friends who gave me the run down lol. So just keep checking your statuses ;)

yes they send it to you via email. basically a reference page of the THR locations and area of specialty

Fort Worth CVICU- "considering"

Fort Worth Neuro ICU - "considering"

Dallas Surgical Trauma ICU - "application in review process"

HEB ICU - "considering"

Plano ICU - "in process"

Yet another email to submit my preferences. I already did it so I'll just disregard but i hate that they get my hopes up when I get an email!! Lol
