Texas Health July 2017 Residency

Published

Does anyone know when Texas Health Resources will open up their application for their Graduate Nurse Residency program for July 2017?

Has anyone worked in the ICU for any of the THR facilities? If so, where at and what are some pros/cons?

Thank you :)

UPDATE: NICU (Dallas) "In Review Process"

same here- on Friday

Have you been there before? Know anything about it?

Sorry, I only meant SICU would be a great unit. I wish I had info on that hospital in particular.

However, I'm doing my CCU ICU clinical at Methodist Dallas now and I love it!!

no updates here, a lot of "filled" spots so it seems like they are moving along. I'm down to a handful of positions that either say "in process" or "considering".

Rejected from maternal newborn HEB.

What does it say when you've been rejected? Did your status go from in review to rejected or whatever it says?

all of mine says "filled"
all of mine says "filled"

Ugh! Were they in review process before or considering?? I really wish I could talk to HR but they never answer

I got asked for a interview on Neuro Trauma ICU at another facility, after completing a video interview. Has anyone had a second interview and if so what was it like? What kinds of questions?

Mine was in review for a long time at HEB. It now says filled.

I don't know if this is the case for all of the positions, but I wouldn't obsess over the status too much. I was interviewed and hired for the OR residency, and my status went straight from "considering" to "interviewing" but only after they contacted me for an interview. Then after I got an offer and accepted it, the status still changed to "filled." So it never really said I was accepted, but I officially was offered the job. Again, I don't know if this is only the case!

has anyones status for Dallas NICU changed from application in review process? getting antsy

No- you have to keep in mind the sheer number of applications, not to mention they may not update the statuses- you never know
