Texas Health July 2017 Residency

Does anyone know when Texas Health Resources will open up their application for their Graduate Nurse Residency program for July 2017?

Has anyone worked in the ICU for any of the THR facilities? If so, where at and what are some pros/cons?

My friends med surg interview went smooth, she said. It was basic questions like "why do you want to be a nurse" and "tell me about a time you dealt with a difficult patient". She said it was with the mgr, and she was told the next step would be a interview with the staff if she is chosen.

On on another note, all my statuses are the same and it has been officially 1 month since applying to ICU, PCU, and women's specialty at various locations.

Luckily I'm working now and have a opportunity to stay within my hospital, otherwise I would be a little nervous!! I have classmates who have not heard anything from anywhere :nailbiting:

In your initial interview did they mention having to do a second interview with staff?

No. I did one panel interview yesterday with around 8 people in it. Today, the recruiter called me and extended an offer.

Congratulations!! That's so exciting! I interviewed today and I think it went well. Just curious, did they tell you in your interview when you would hear back?
they said they were interviewing through the rest of the week and I would know sometime next week but they called me today!
