Texas Health Graduate Nurse Residency Summer 2023

Hi guys! Congrats on almost being done! Has anyone heard from THR? Just curious ?

Just wondering if anyone has had much movement on their applications? I still have hardly any on mine, most are still in review, and 2 changed not selected. Has anyone interviewed or been offered in any of the ICU units? I'm trying to gauge whether its there all gonna eventually pass on my applications or if they are still actively interviewing

Hey! I interviewed for two positions last week: Geriatric Surgery and Periop. I opted for Periop. THR got back to me for an interview around the end of the month. I originally applied at the beginning of the month so it definitely took them a little while. I needed to give my other Med City recruiter a final answer by today actually so I was on a tight schedule. Because of this, I went had and called my recruiter to see if I could get a "sneak peak" on an offer and she let me know I got it!

Literally me! I just interviewed last week, which was like 3 weeks after I applied, but once you get an interview, definitely keep up with your recruiter cause that's how I found out I got in!

Hey all! It looks like we've all been waiting a while for them to get back to us. I was beginning to think they gave up on my application LOL! Well, I'm happy to say that I got an offer for the Periop position in Ft Worth! I recommend keeping up with your recruiter after you've been offered an interview. I needed to give another facility a decision soon so I was on a tight schedule and she let me know over the phone. ?

Hey guys! I got an email yesterday morning for an interview with Women's Services in Fort Worth! They are definitely running a little bit behind but I have a virtual interview today at 1pm. Very nervous!!

It went well. I was a little caught off guard though becuase I thought my interview would be with the manager, but it was a peer interview with two nurses. They only asked me three questions, so IDK if that's a good or bad sign LOL. The interview only lasted about 10 minutes even though it was scheduled for 30.

Do you remember the kinds of questions they asked? Mine is today and I'm very frantic ?

So sorry for not responding before your interview!! They asked me about a time when I had to overcome something, why THR, and I forgot the third question. How did your interview go?

I applied recently. do you think they're still doing interviews?

I had my L&D interview a few weeks ago, but hopefully they still have some sports open and you get an interview!!

I would think so! Some units are just slower, if you're talking about Women's Services specifically I'm not sure...she said there's 3 spots and I only saw 2 days available for interview times. Unless they do second rounds.

Has anyone else received an offer? My friend's interview was also Wednesday for Onc and they called her back same day and gave an offer! My nurse manager told me I'd hear something by today or tomorrow...I'm genuinely scared. My interview was decent...

Hi! Did anyone interview with renal transplant fort worth? any tips? thank u!

I interviewed for the renal transplant floor on Friday - I should hear something by Wednesday.

I already have an offer for MC Alliance starting in June - PCU floor.

I'm torn! THR took 6 weeks to reach out to me...so frustrating!

I did on Friday! Sorry, just saw your post. How did your interview go?

*Describe a personal setback

*Describe your role model

*Why Renal?

My advice with being torn is to let MC know that you're still waiting to hear back from a recent interview and just want to be able to weigh options if offered, then see what they say!
