Hi! I haven't noticed a thread made for this year, but I know I am not alone in applying to CRNA school, figured a way for everyone to share updates and stats! Super scary/exciting applying this year but I wish everyone the best!

My stats:
GPA 3.70, GRE 307 4.5 writing, CCRN, 2 years now as a CVICU RN. I have taken organic chemistry 1 in the fall.

It sends an email to your reference and gives them a link to upload it themselves.

The Nursing CAS website allows you to enter the reference information. Once you fill out the form and hit send, it sends the info to your reference. They follow the instructions and send it back to Nursing CAS. Once CAS receives the letter, the status will change on the website. Hope this helps

Hello all,

I have applied as well. I spoke with the director and she stated we will most likely interview via Zoom or another related program. Best of luck to everyone.

Thanks for the update! Did they say anything about the dates changing?

I was told the University is closed for onsite classes until August 1. That's all I know at this point.

Aggiecrna2019 which school are you talking about? TCU?

I’m sorry. Yes, TCU. I forgot this is a thread for multiple schools

Has anyone tried contacting other schools to see their status on interviews (dates, via online, etc)? I wonder how covid will affect this application cycle.

Also, did anyone attend Baylor's information session yesterday (5/6)? I missed it and would love a recap of the info!

How did you all score on the ccrn? I am taking mine soon and was wondering the score range needed to be considered competitive for TCU.

I got a 101. I think minimum score is 87 and max is 125. I've read that the score doesn't play a factor in getting you an interview, but it instead will determine the amount of clinical based questions you will get asked. For example, if someone got a perfect 125/125, TCU may only ask them 1 clinical question because they likely know their stuff. A person that scored an 88/125 may get asked a few more.

Has anyone had difficulty obtaining work verification forms for TCU due to Covid 19?

Specializes in CVICU 2 years.

Applied to TCU and plan on applying to TWU as well. 2 yrs CVICU/SICU at level 1 trauma but haven’t taken GRE or CCRN yet. I got my work authorization signed off by manager and submitted. Good luck everyone!!
