TCU DNAP Class of 2027

Specializes in STICU.

I have a question for those who have been accepted:

Were you also accepted at Baylor College of Medicine?
Why would you choose TCU over Baylor.
I am having a hard time deciding.
Any input is super welcome.

Hi, I just got accepted to Baylor and TCU too, but I chose TCU. I live here in DFW. I feel like both seem like great programs to be at but TCU would work better for me in the long run since I can be closer to family/support. I personally don't have any ties to Houston. I also shadowed a TCU CRNA alum and have a friend in the TCU program and both had only good things to say about TCU overall, so it made the decision a bit easier for me. Of course, it depends on your situation.

Thank you for your answer. I don't live close to any of these cities. My clinical at TCU is in El Paso and at Baylor is in Houston.
I am just not super incline to any o these options. I wish something could point to the right direction. 😭😭

Where do you live/what was your first choice clinical site? I got into Baylor as well with a clinical site in Fort Worth, but Houston was my first choice.

Anyone remember what was asked on the Kira assessment? Was it mainly EI questions? How did you prepare?

For the interviews at Baylor and TCU, what were the differences? I heard the Baylor interview was all day. Did you like one interview style over another? Was it a mix of both clinical and EI for both or heavy on a certain one?
