Texas A&M (TAMU) HSC Nursing Summer/Fall 2019

Howdy!

I've been searching to see if anyone had started a topic about applying for the summer/fall 2019 but nobody has that I've found so here I am! I wanted us to have a place where we can talk to others who applied and maybe calm our nerves.

I applied for the Traditional BSN for summer/fall College Station and Round Rock. My prerequisite gpa is 3.82, my science gpa is 3.85, and my overall hesi score was 94%. I applied as an internal transfer as I'm currently attending A&M and finishing up my prerequisites this spring.

I applied to College Station and Round Rock for the summer/fall Traditional BSN program at TAMU as well, but as an external applicant (I'm currently at Blinn). I also applied to TAMU Corpus Christi's online nursing program. I am a little more confident about Corpus Christi mainly because of the limited space here at TAMU. (Still keeping my fingers crossed though.) ?

That's awesome! I haven't looked into Corpus Christi's online program, I just know that there are a few different prerequisites that you would have to take along with all subjects of the HESI to apply there. I'm definitely scared about the limited space here in College Station but I'm trying to be optimistic! I've also heard that we may find out this week since this is the time people found out last year. My fingers are crossed that we make it so good luck! Also are those the only two places you applied? I applied here and UT Houston for the fall, but I was trying to come up with other programs as a back-up plan. I had been thinking of TAMUCC and UTMB in Galveston but again there are more prerequisites so I'm just nervous that it's going to take forever to get accepted into a program.

Hi guys!

I also applied to the round rock location and I also applied to TAMUCC eline I can’t believe we are gonna find out soon! I had no idea they sent out decision letters during this week last year. I’m nervous!

Hey guys! Obviously it was an entire year ago, but do you remember when you heard back from A&M about filling out Apply Texas? NursingCas closed on 1/15. I was thinking about giving another week before calling admissions and asking.

Hey! I received an email telling me to complete step 2 (apply TX) before the actual due date. I think it was sent once my nursing cas was verified complete.

@Johnanna Bowers: Is that for this year, or last year? I submitted NursingCas at Christmas and it was verified then, but haven't heard anything back yet.
