Texas A & M (TAMU) ABSN Spring 2022

Hi all,

I haven't seen a thread for Texas & M Uni second degree accelerated ABSN program so I decided to start.  Is anyone else applying to this program Spring 2022 start?

Is this for the Round Rock campus, because if so, I applied!

Yes, round rock campus. I applied as well. Decisions will be out in a few weeks via AIS . I am so nervous, I don't have a fall back school. What is your background? Mine is economics and business

I am so nervous too!! I am applying to TAMU and UTMB, but my first choice is TAMU so I’m desperately hoping that I get in! I have a bachelor’s in Psychology with a minor in Sociology.

I applied to the one in Round Rock. I'm so nervous. I have a bachelor's in English from a college oversea. How did y'all do for the Kira Talent assessment? I think I did better with the writing section.

I also feel like I did better with the writing portion because I had more time to think about what I wanted to say. It felt a little weird having to record yourself, but I’m thinking everyone struggled a bit with the video part.

I feel the exact same way about the video assessment. I think I did better with the written responses. Does anyone know how many applications they received this year and how many seats are available?

I’m not sure how many applied to start in Spring 2022, but for those that started in Spring 2021, there were 101 applicants and only 32 got accepted.

For Spring 2022, they open for RR campus only. I was wondering if they would accept more people.

Wanna guess when the decisions will be out? 
My guess is the 29th (next Friday) since I saw the decisions came pretty late for the past few years too.

I think we’ll be hearing soon because I saw that Texas A&M Corpus Christi received decision letters on Monday
