I'm monitoring this for my daughter... she applied for Fall 2018 and is on pins and needles, too. Her stats: 3.9 Overall GPA; 3.9 Nursing GPA. 96.4 HESI. She is an internal candidate and only applied for Fall to the Bryan campus. If anyone knows when decisions start coming out, that would be so great to know. It seems to get more competitive each cycle. Ugh! Good luck, everyone!
I am applying for this fall 2018 and i go to Blinn. I have a 3.89 overall gpa and made a 88.57 on the Hesi before i took a&p, Chem and micro. What do you think my chances are? i also applied to UTHSC Houston and UTA... i am praying i get into at least one of those places, but i really dont want to leave College Station!
they want me to take patho over the summer! do y'all know if the drug test is urine or hair follicle? Since we have to pay for it I am assuming urine bc hair follicle i believe is expensive.
That's probably something you should email about so you can be 100% sure! Are you attending the College Station center in the fall? or are you starting in May?

Hello all! I am currently at a community college in Harris county! I applied to TAMU for summer and fall of 2018. I feel as if I sort of screwed the pooch whenever I took the HESI, scoring an 86.4 overall. I still believe in myself though! I thought I would make this thread for all of us applying and waiting to get in. Here are my stats
Overall GPA 3.87
Science GPA 3.85
HESI 86.4
I also thought my personal statement was pretty well written and I do have some volunteer stuff on my app too. Best of luck and I hope to hear from everyone.
