  1. I actually made an 89 on the HESI, but I think the reason I got accepted with a lower score than average is that I made that score before I had taken A&P 1 and 2. I then made As in both in the coming semesters. It is a super competitive program, but they seem to have a better system of accepting people that UTH. Also yes the application is a little confusing but not too bad. You have to send an application through NursingCAS which is a bulk of it. Then when the applyTexas app opens up all you have to do is send that in and it requires barley information because most of it is done through NursingCAS. Let me know if you have any other questions.
  2. I'm not going to complain because I got into Texas A&M nursing, but I got denied from UTH. I had a 3.9 overall and 4.0 science gpa. I seriously think that UTH just pulls names out of a hat and thats who gets accepted.
  3. I have to take patho online over summer so I will be going to the actual school in the Fall
  4. they want me to take patho over the summer! do y'all know if the drug test is urine or hair follicle? Since we have to pay for it I am assuming urine bc hair follicle i believe is expensive.
  5. I got in!!! has anyone else heard back?
  6. Hey Joe what were your stats if you don't mind sharing?
  7. So proud of all of you that got in! I have been following this just for the fun of it, but I am an applicant for this coming Fall... when do yall think I will hear back? The wait is killing me.
  8. yes i applied to UTA and Texas A&M
  9. i think its too late honestly the deadline is coming up and it would take a couple weeks to get a date to take it. When i took it last summer i had to sign up a month in advance
  10. I am applying for Fall 2018 and I currently go to a community college in Bryan/ College Station. I have an overall gpa of 3.89 with As in A&P 1, Chem and Bio. I am in A&P 2 and micro at the moment. I made an 88.57 on the Hesi before i had taken any A&P or Chem. What do yall think my chances of getting in are? Reading: 90 Grammar: 92 Vocab: 94 Math: 92 A&P: 68 (before i had taken any a&p)
  11. I am also applying for the Fall 2018. I have a 3.89 gpa going to Blinn in Bryan and I have As in A&P 1, Chemistry and Biology. I made an 88.57 overall on the Hesi and that was before i had taken any anatomy or chemistry classes. What do you think my chances of getting in are? Reading: 90 Grammar: 92 Vocab: 94 Math: 92 A&P: 68 (before i had even stepped foot into an a&p class)
