I am about to start my ADN at Blinn in Bryan, TX and plan on going all the way through at A&M to get my BSN and eventually my MSN (FNP). I was wondering if anyone has any experience with A&M College Station's program. I am kind of concerned that the RN-BSN and FNP programs are mostly online. If anyone has had any experience or has heard anything about those programs please let me know. Thanks!
lbowers, I would think that they would so applicants weren't left hanging, but not having been notified about an interview seems pretty detrimental. I would think that the first letters/notifications would be the "thanks, but no thanks" ones.....
Do you happen to know an average of how many applicants apply each term?
I read that not everyone will get an interview. It said if the selection committee requests it. Also it said "You will also receive communication from the Office of Student Affairs as to your status, whether admitted, denied, or provisionally admitted.
I will call and see tomorrow. Because I haven't heard anything either. They told me that at least 100 people have applied and they only accept 20. They said most of the time people don't have all the admission requirements and so that's why a lot of people don't get accepted.
Your thread has been moved to the Nursing Schools / Colleges forum where the other school specific discussions are. We hope you will receive additional responses in this new location.
