Testing pos for Amphetamine; Adderall

I passed my board two weeks ago. I used to take adderall with a prescription for a few months prior to my test date. My date was 7/15 and I am scheduled for a drug test for employment tomorrow. It will be exactly two weeks since the last time I ingested Adderall.

I never took anything without a prescription from a doctor. The dose was 20mg once a day. I have read the urine test and oral drug tests can detect amphetamines for up to 5 days being the longest. A hair test can detect up to 90 days but I highly doubt I'll be given a hair test. I have a written doctors note that states I have been taking prescription amphetamines. It doesnt say the dose or the length of time..but it is written on a script with my doctors information. My question is....do you think my test will be positive ocnsidering I have NOT ingested Adderall in two weeks.

Should I give them the letter tomorrow before I test and explain to them I last took it two weeks ago just to cover bases? Will this raise any suspicions?

I mean I am sure I am not the only one who ever took prescription adderall but I fear my position being taken away.

    I would give them the note and tell them the last time you took the meds. The worst thing that will happen is it tests positive and you did not disclose. If you have the bottles, I'd bring those in.

    Take the note and your prescription bottle with you. If the company asked what you have taken the last 30 days give them the information. if they don't ask hold onto it. if you test positive you would get a call from the medical review officer who would ask you about the medications you have taken. Different companies have different procedures-follow the one that your company does.

    The drug testing company should call you and ask for the script number. As long as it is a legit script, there should not be an issue. Go to the pharmacy where you had it filled and get the number.
