i would like to ask people who already took the test (nclex RN/PN) how many questions did they answer and is it pass or.....
mine was:
Nclex RN
1. 265-F
2. 265-F
2. 77-78--Passed (December 25, 2007!)
PS: If there is already an existing post like this, pls add this post with it. TY. This way it is easier to see how many pass with certain number of items or how many didnt make it. It somehow alleviates a little bit of anxiety knowing test scores of others
1. 265 = failed
2. 237 = still waiting, but i'm sure i failed again =(
does anyone know anything about running out of time? because on my 237 question i had about 2 minutes left but after i answered it it shut of so i'm not sure if it's because i ran out of time or my test ended? i'm so worry =( i had a lot of who to see first questions and some really easy ones like malfunctioning of equipment? oooooh gosh i feel so bad.

When we took our test, we sometimes becomes totally unaware of the time and everything that surrounds us. Either you ran out of time or the test finally shut off before the time allowed, there is still 50/50 chance of passing or... Anyways on the bright side, if u ran out of time and it says on the small leaflet that pearsovue gave us, the last 60 questions will be marked and if you answered above passing standard on those questions you will pass. It also said that you dont have to answer all of the last 60 correctly. If your computer stopped before the time required, that means the computer already made a decision. either the computer is 95% certain that you have reached the passing standard set or you fell below it. There is no certain on what will be our test scores. I myself have gone through hard time thinking all the questions asked and actually looking and searching on all the books available if i answered the questions correctly. I know it will just add anxiety to me but waiting is so much a sadistic approach to knowing your test results. sigh... I felt unsure if i will pass since i have been seeing wrong choices that I made. fewer were correct or maybe i made myself believe that the correct answers were more than the ones i answered wrong... i waited 5 days (including sat and Sun) before I found out that I passed (Dec 25).
Try to enjoy,go out and relax (altho difficult). maybe play games more. Just try to divert your attentions for few days until it is time for u to check the result by quick result or web if available. Do not be dishearthened if you dont see results right away, there are many reasons for its delay. Continue to pray. Best of luck and I hope you pass nclex!
Thank you Leilah, I really appreciate your words of encouragement. I know i need to relaxxxxxx....for i am also pregnant. sigh!!!! i left the testing center approximately 43 hours ago and i live in california so they don't participate in quick results. i'll just have to keep checking CA brn website. do they update their system on the weekends and mondays? and if by next week i don't see my name on the website i'll just reassure myself that I FAILED. even if i haven't gotten my official results from the brn can i just go ahead and submit another application in for retest. i'm want to use suzanne's plan this next time. the first time i submitted my application for retake in it took almost 8 weeks to get my ATT. i have a mortgage to pay and i am so worry. i've asked God to lead my way and prayed before i began the test. i took a lot of breaks and prayed each time. when i get suck on a question i also prayed. but i am not disappointed at my Lord if i did not pass again. I know God always has a better plan for all of us and I am willing to walk the path he choses for me. Thank you again for your reply.
CA BRN doesnt have quick result but they do update their files mon-friday around 1am-3am as far as I know. Minimum days that they post names of those who passed is 3 days, do not be dishearten if you dont see yer name within 3 days or so, there are many reasons for its delay. My cousin had 265 questions, didnt see her name on CA BON website until the 2nd month, she received her license by mail within a month of waiting. She is now receiving $42/hr at Placer area. Remember as well to take care of your health. Someone is relying on you---your unborn baby. Try to eat healthy. It is difficult to calm down and relax and ignore the nclex waiting game but you have to try. Me and my husband experienced such tremendous fianacial problems as well, we recently rented a 3 bedroom apartment thinking that his sister will give her share. We moved to a bigger apartment because of her since she just broke up with her ex. the rent is way way beyond our budget. 1 week after we moved and after signing a one year lease, she found someone new and move out without talking to us. leaving us with this huge rental charge. Passing nclex is like answers to my prayers. God sent help when we needed help. You too will have help very soon. As of now, enjoy the pride of pregnancy. ALl problems will be solve on His own time. Dont loose hope.

The first time I took it I ran out of time at 250 Q. My results were
near passing for all catagories. I was tired and started to quest the
answers to beat the time. The second time I failed the computer turn off at 114 Q. I thought I had passed because the Qs seemed easier but I actually did worst than the first. I had 3 catagories that where below passing. I didn't pass because I wasn't ready both times.
Good luck to you and I hope you pass.
