Temporary Dialysis and PICC line together

Does anyone have any experience with the new BARD catheter that combines a PICC line and a temporary dialysis catheter? It seems great in theory, but the rep says it can't be used while dialysis is running? If that is true, then what's the point? Also, who takes the CLASBI hit if it gets infected? Any feedback is appreciated :redbeathe

Even if it can't be used during dialysis it still gets rid of the need for another access and if the picc is in place for something like antibiotics, these should be given after dialysis anyway so they do not dialyze off. If it is for something else dialysis is not all the time so there is still plenty of time for it to be used for whatever else.
